Hacksaw Gaming: Games, Features & Research Notes
Last verified: 2026-10-03 · Editor: SweepsDuke
Hacksaw Gaming Ltd. (HGIM) has been shipping slots, scratch cards, and instant games since 2018. The address we use is Zebbug, Malta. The license list is wide: Malta Gaming Authority, UK Gambling Commission, Hellenic Gaming Commission, Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission, eCOGRA, and more. On the US side the names are New Jersey, Michigan, and West Virginia. The studio entered the US in 2022 on a West Virginia Lottery Commission supplier license, then added New Jersey and Michigan.
The catalog is 250+ games. Types we list are video slots, Hackways slots, Book slots, instant-win games, and scratch cards. Scratch cards are the original specialty. Cut The Grass is the early example, and the scratch shelf is now 50+ titles. There are no jackpot slots. Megaways-style Hackways games such as Warrior Ways and Toshi Ways Club are the substitute for a progressive: high caps instead of a shared pot.
A second profile adds MGA, UKGC, and Sweden's Spelinspektionen, plus GLI-19, BMM Testlabs, and iTech Labs, and it puts a 50,000x figure on the top of the max-win range. The game-by-game caps we can actually attach are lower than that headline, and they are in the table below. We will not paste 50,000x onto Wanted Dead or a Wild.
Most sheets print above 96% RTP. The average max exposure we quote is 10,000x, with Beam Boys at 12,500x and 2 Wild 2 Die at 15,000x called out above that average. Gold Coins are the practice balance. Sweeps Coins are the prize balance. A 12,500x line does not change a casino's redemption floor.

Where the deep lobbies are
Stake.us is the count we have: over 150 slots, minigames, and scratch cards, including RIP City and Chaos Crew III. Rolla, KingPrize, and Crown Coins are the other names on the short list, plus MyPrize.us. We do not have counts for those four. Real-money US casinos carry a handful, with Hand of Anubis, Gladiator Legends, and Joker Bombs named. Sweeps lobbies are where the wider set lives, in 30+ states depending on the site.
Signup chips we have seen published, and which we will not treat as current: Stake.us at 250,000 Gold Coins and 25 Stake Cash, Crown Coins at 100,000 Crown Coins and 2 Sweeps Cash, and a Crown Coins referral line of 400,000 Crown Coins and 20 Sweeps Cash. Those numbers move. Check the live store. A Hacksaw filter that still shows Wanted Dead or a Wild matters more than a stale bonus line.
State blocks belong to the casino. A West Virginia supplier license does not open a sweeps site in a state that site has excluded.
Games we open first
| Game | Max win | RTP | Volatility |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cursed Crypt | 10,000x | 96.22% | 4/5 |
| Le Bandit | 10,000x | 96.34% | 3/5 |
| Wanted Dead or a Wild | 12,500x | 96.38% | 4/5 |
| Feel the Beat | 10,000x | 96.2% | 4/5 |
| Immortal Desire | 10,000x | 96.24% | 4/5 |
Other RTPs we can cite, without a full feature brief: Dragon's Domain 96.31%, Twisted Lab 96.29%, Ze Zeus 96.34%, Duel at Dawn 96.30%.
Wanted Dead or a Wild
Wanted Dead or a Wild is the western tile with three bonuses. VS symbols pit outlaws against sheriffs. Each side carries a multiplier, and the winner's multiplier applies to the round. Three Duel symbols start 10 free spins with more VS fights. Three or more Train symbols start 10 free spins with sticky wilds. Dead Man's Hand is a two-stage fight with death: load wilds and multipliers, then a Hold and Win-style round with 3 refillable spins called bullets.
RTP 96.38%, cap 12,500x, volatility 4/5. We open it when a player wants three different features and will learn them on Gold Coins before Sweeps Coins. The bullets are respins, not a separate jackpot. A 12,500x cap is the highest in this five. It is not 15,000x. That number belongs to 2 Wild 2 Die.
Feel the Beat
Feel the Beat ties features to three selectable songs. Characters dance to the track, and a bonus opens a busier section of the music. Two or more Speaker symbols link the paylines between them and flip every symbol on those paths, including wilds and scatters, into paying symbols. X symbols add a global multiplier from 2x to 200x. Three scatters award 10 free spins in which Speakers can turn symbols into wilds. Four or more scatters can evolve the global multiplier.
RTP 96.2%, cap 10,000x, volatility 4/5. We open it for the speaker link, which is easy to misread as a normal wild. On Gold Coins, wait for two speakers so you see the path flip. BonusHunt Feature Spins, the studio's paid ante, shows up on this game and on others. It costs more per spin to raise bonus odds. It is not a full buy of the round. Read the price on the button.
Immortal Desire
Immortal Desire is the monastery and vampire tile. When the curse hits, some reels become Blood Reels. High symbols turn into vampire versions and take a multiplier from 2x to 100x. Low symbols do not. Three candles bring a Blood Moon: Blood Reels stick and you get 10 free spins. Four candles open Dark Awakening, 10 free spins that pay instant prizes for characters converted.
RTP 96.24%, cap 10,000x, volatility 4/5. We open it when the player wants a multiplier reel with a visible 2x to 100x range and can tell three candles from four. The 100x is on the converted symbols, not a promise that the round pays 100x stake. Same warning we give on any symbol multiplier.
Le Bandit
Le Bandit is the raccoon tile, volatility 3/5, the lowest in this table. RTP 96.34%, cap 10,000x. Wins turn borders gold. Rainbows on those cells pay instant cash from 0.2x to 500x, or drop a four-leaf clover that multiplies adjacent prizes, or a gold pot that collects coins and makes borders drop more coins. Three cameras award 8 free spins with borders that stick until they trigger. Four or more cameras award 12 free spins with borders that stick the whole round. Five scatters guarantee a rainbow on each free spin.
We open Le Bandit when 4/5 volatility is more than the session should carry and the player still wants a Hacksaw bonus. 3/5 is not a calm fruit machine. It is the mild end of this shelf. Cash symbols at 0.2x will look like a loss if you expected the 500x end of the same range. Both numbers are on the sheet.
Cursed Crypt
Cursed Crypt is a 5-reel game. A ghoul howls and turns every symbol above it on that reel into a random symbol. Three scatters start Wrath of Sobek: 10 free spins and more ghouls. Four or more scatters open the Tomb of Tutankhamun, where mystery symbols become major symbols only. Five buy options sit on the game, including a guarantee of at least 3 curses for 40x and at least 5 curses for 150x, plus BonusHunt Feature Spins and bought scatters.
RTP 96.22%, cap 10,000x, volatility 4/5. The 150x curse guarantee is a large Sweeps Coins decision. We would not press it until the stake is tiny or we are still on Gold Coins. The base game is readable: one ghoul, one reel, symbols above it change. Learn that before you buy curses.
Volatility labels that are not all 4/5
Most of the catalog is high or extreme. Medium or moderate names we can list: Frank's Farm, Magic Piggy, Pickle Bandits, Beam Boys, and Ronin Stackways. Beam Boys is also the 12,500x cap, so "less risky" here does not mean a small max win. Pickle Bandits is on the picks line and is one of the medium titles. We do not have its RTP or cap in the notes we kept, so it stays a name.
Mature themes are part of the shelf: Rotten, Dark Summoning, Six Six Six. If that art is a problem, use Le Bandit or Feel the Beat and skip the gore tiles. There is still no jackpot to fall back on.
Dare2Win and scratch cards
Dare2Win instant games take dice, limbo, Plinko, mines, and hi-lo, and they are provably fair. You set risk, grid size, and similar parameters. Plinko at low risk, on the classic 8-row setup, pays roughly 0.9x to 5.6x. High risk on the same 8 rows pays roughly 0.4x to 28.7x. Mines lets you pick the grid and the mine count. Hi-Lo is higher or lower on the next card, with a skip arrow.
Scratch cards: you buy the card, scratch the foil, and three matching prizes pay that prize. Tiger Scratch is priced at $4 a card and Chaos Crew Scratch at $0.10 in the real-money pricing we have. A sweeps lobby may charge Gold Coins or Sweeps Coins instead. Read the card price in that lobby. Do not assume $0.10.
How a Sweeps Coins session should use this math
Demo on Gold Coins or on the studio site before Sweeps Coins. Hacksaw rules are easy to misread: VS battles, speaker links, blood reels, golden borders. Keep the paytable open.
If you are trying to clear a playthrough, the medium names (Beam Boys, Ronin Stackways, Pickle Bandits, Frank's Farm, Magic Piggy) are the ones we would look at first. The five in the table are mostly 4/5. Le Bandit at 3/5 is the exception inside the table.
Weigh every paid option separately. BonusHunt Feature Spins raise the chance. Feature spawns and guaranteed free spins are different prices. Cursed Crypt's 40x and 150x curse buys are not the same product as a 1.5x ante on another studio. Max bet is a real temptation because caps sit at 10,000x and up and there is no jackpot. On Sweeps Coins, max bet is also how you miss a redemption floor in one spin. We do not recommend it as a strategy.
Site caps on a spin are not in this guide. A 12,500x studio line and a site rule that stops earlier are both real, and only the site rule governs the redemption.
Licenses and fairness
Malta, the UK, Greece, the Isle of Man, eCOGRA, and US licensing in New Jersey, Michigan, and West Virginia are the names we can stand behind. GLI-19, BMM, and iTech Labs come from the shorter profile. The studio publishes variance and RTP and allows a demo without an account. If a paytable disagrees with 96.38% or 96.2%, trust the paytable.
A dry streak on a 4/5 game is the volatility, not a broken RNG. That only helps if you sized the stake first.
Sweepstakes play still has to offer a no-purchase path. Buying Gold Coins is optional. Responsible gaming tools live in the account menu.
Who should play Hacksaw, and who should skip
Play Hacksaw if you want high caps, several buy prices, and a demo you can open before you spend Sweeps Coins. Le Bandit is the first game when you want the lowest volatility in the table (3/5) and a 96.34% RTP. Wanted Dead or a Wild is the one when you want three bonuses and the 12,500x cap. Stake.us is the lobby we open for width, at 150+.
Skip Hacksaw if you want a jackpot. There isn't one. Skip the gore tiles if the art is the problem. Skip Cursed Crypt's 150x buy, and any other guarantee you have not priced, when your Sweeps Coins balance is still near a redemption floor. Skip the studio's real-money path if you are outside New Jersey, Michigan, and West Virginia. The sweeps path still depends on that casino's state list.
Hacksaw Gaming Provider FAQ
Are Hacksaw slots in US real-money casinos?
Yes, in a limited way, at partners such as BetMGM and DraftKings, in the states where the studio is licensed (New Jersey, Michigan, West Virginia). The examples named are Hand of Anubis, Gladiator Legends, and Joker Bombs. Sweeps lobbies carry far more of the 250+.
Which sweeps site has the most Hacksaw games?
Stake.us at 150+ is the count we have. Rolla, KingPrize, Crown Coins, and MyPrize.us are named without counts. Filter the live lobby.
What is the highest max win we can cite?
2 Wild 2 Die at 15,000x, then Beam Boys and Wanted Dead or a Wild at 12,500x. The other four in the table are 10,000x. A 50,000x range appears on a short profile and is not attached to a title here.
What is a Hackways slot?
The studio's Megaways-style games. Warrior Ways and Toshi Ways Club are the examples. They are not a progressive jackpot.
Are scratch cards the same as Dare2Win?
No. Scratch cards pay three matching prizes under the foil. Dare2Win is the instant set: Plinko, Mines, Hi-Lo, dice, limbo, with risk settings you choose.
Is every game extreme volatility?
No. Frank's Farm, Magic Piggy, Pickle Bandits, Beam Boys, and Ronin Stackways are the moderate or medium names we have. Most of the rest are high or extreme.
