Relax Gaming: Games, Features & Research Notes
Last verified: 2026-10-03 · Editor: SweepsDuke
Relax Gaming was founded in early 2010 by Jani Tekoniemi and Patrik Österåker. Operations started after more than a year of setup. Headquarters are in Sliema, Malta, with offices named in Malmo, Tallinn, Belgrade, and Stockholm. Within three years the studio had 50+ slots. By the end of 2015 it had added bingo and video poker. The about sheet today says video slots, bingo, and poker, and 300+ games.
Licenses we can name: New Jersey and Pennsylvania on the US side, plus the UK Gambling Commission, Malta Gaming Authority, Gibraltar, AGCO Ontario, Romanian ONJN, Hellenic Gaming Commission, and the Swedish Gambling Authority. A shorter profile adds GLI-19, eCOGRA, and ISO 27001, and says NetEnt (Evolution group) acquired Relax in 2021 for €295 million. We keep that acquisition as a corporate fact from that profile, not as a change to the name on the load screen. The games are still Relax Gaming.
Selected licensed sites in New Jersey and Pennsylvania carry some Relax slots, and not the studio's best-known titles yet. Sweepstakes casinos in 30+ states are where we find the wider set. The working note is over 100 titles on the top sweeps picks, against a 300+ catalog. Silver Bullet is the distribution network for other studios. A Relax filter can include games Relax did not build.
Gold Coins are the practice balance. Sweeps Coins are the prize balance. A 150,000x line on Money Train 4 does not change a redemption floor.

Silver Bullet, and where we look
Silver Bullet partners we can list: Silverback Gaming, AvatarUX, Fantasma, Blue Guru Games, Four Leaf Gaming, Print Studios, Peter & Sons, Electric Elephant, 4ThePlayer, Kalamba Games, Felt, Storm Gaming Technology, Maxwin Gaming, and Trigger Button. If the art looks nothing like a Relax cartoon, you may be on one of those studios inside a Relax lobby. Print Studios' Dreadworks and Peter & Sons' Barbarossa Revenge are the examples of a different look. Read the studio name on the tile.
Mega Bonanza, McLuck, Hello Millions, PlayFame, and Stake.us are the sweeps names we start with. The "over 100 titles" line is for top picks as a group, not a count we can pin to each brand. New Jersey and Pennsylvania real-money sites have a thinner, licensed slice.
Welcome offers move. We do not pin one here. State blocks belong to the casino. A New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement approval does not open a sweeps site in a state that site has excluded.
Games we open first
One later paragraph lumps Ramses Revenge, Temple Tumble Megaways, and Iron Bank together at "up to 46,000x." The game notes disagree: Temple Tumble is 7,767x, Iron Bank is 49,999x. We use the figures attached to each game, not the lump.
Hellcatraz 2
Hellcatraz 2 returns to the prison theme of the first game, in an 8-bit look, and adds Dream Drop. The grid is 5x5 with 3,125 ways. Mystery Reveal adds two reels and 59,049 ways. RTP is 96.10%. The cap line is 10,000x or more once the jackpot is included.
We open it when a player wants a Relax sheet with a progressive attached and a ways count that can jump. Dream Drop is a network, described below. The 10,000x is not the mega jackpot. Do not mix them. On Gold Coins, trigger Mystery Reveal once so the extra reels are not a surprise on Sweeps Coins.
Money Train
Money Train (2019) is the western train on a 5x4 grid with 40 paylines. The Money Cart bonus uses Payer, Widener, Collector, and Tumbleweed symbols. Max win on this first game is 20,000x. Sequels exist. Money Train 4, in 2023, is the one with a 150,000x max payout. We do not paste 150,000x onto the 2019 tile.
We open the original when it is the tile in the lobby, and check the number in the title before we talk about the cap. Collector versus Payer is the lesson for Gold Coins. A collector that has nothing to collect is a dead symbol. Learn that before SC.
Temple Tumble Megaways
Temple Tumble Megaways is the Aztec grid: 6x6, 46,656 ways, RTP 96.25%, high volatility, rewards described up to 7,767x. The bonus lets you pick extra spins, multipliers, or both.
We open it for the choice at the start of the feature, which is clearer than a random round. The 7,767x figure is the one we will say. If a paytable shows the 46,000x lump instead, trust the paytable and treat our number as the older note. High volatility means the choice may not arrive for a long time. Size the stake for that wait.
Iron Bank
Iron Bank is a heist with a jaguar on a 6x4 grid and 4,096 paylines. Mystery symbols, free spins, and expanding wilds are the features. Max payout is 49,999x. RTP is 96.20%.
We open it when the player wants a large printed cap on a Relax original and the Money Train sequel is not the tile they loaded. 49,999x is specific. Do not round it to 50,000x in your head and then chase it with a max stake. On Sweeps Coins, a cap that size is exactly why we stay at the bottom of the 0.1 SC ladder until the expanding wild has been seen on GC.
Marching Legions
Marching Legions prints 98.12% RTP and a 10,000x max payout. The play is unconventional. Marching Respins, Horn symbols, and free spins are the features once it clicks.
This is the RTP pick. 98.12% is far above the 96% cluster, and Book of 99 at 99% is the other extreme we can name without a full brief. A high RTP does not mean a frequent hit, and the rules need a Gold Coins pass because they do not match a standard 20-line slot. We would rather run a longer, smaller SC session here than on Iron Bank, because the reason we picked it is the return, not the 49,999x cap.
Dream Drop and the volatility
Dream Drop jackpots launched in 2022. They are networked progressives with five levels: rapid, midi, maxi, major, and mega. Seed values are described as high as $500,000. 12% of bets on Dream Drop slots go into the pool. A max payout line of $3 million is attached to the network. Hellcatraz 2 is the game in this five that names the feature. Not every Relax slot is a Dream Drop slot. Read the badge.
The catalog leans high volatility. A hundred spins without the main bonus is a normal complaint. Base games have dry spells and then larger hits. The cartoon, slightly rusty look is the other complaint: fine for one tile, tiring after an hour on the same art. Partner studios are the exit from that look without leaving the filter.
Bill & Coin 2 lets the player pick which bonus to trigger. That is the "you choose" habit, also on Temple Tumble's feature. We like it because the choice is visible. It still costs the spins it takes to get there.
Stake limits around 0.1 SC to 100 SC are the range described for most games. Combined with a 49,999x or 150,000x cap, the top of that range is not a casual stake. We do not use 100 SC on these sheets.
How a Sweeps Coins session should use this math
Start on Gold Coins. Confirm you are on Relax and not a Silver Bullet partner, unless that partner is what you wanted. Confirm Dream Drop is or is not on the tile. Confirm Money Train versus Money Train 4.
Move to Sweeps Coins small. Marching Legions can take a longer session because 98.12% is why you are there, and the rules need repetition. Iron Bank and a Money Train 4 cap need a smaller stake than the headline suggests. Temple Tumble's pick-your-bonus choice should be seen on GC so you do not freeze and take the wrong option on SC. Hellcatraz 2's jackpot is a network prize, not a personal 10,000x you are "due."
Site caps and redemption floors are in the casino terms. A $3 million Dream Drop line is a real-money network figure. A sweeps site may show it in coins or may not offer that jackpot at all. Read the table in your lobby.
Licenses and fairness
New Jersey, Pennsylvania, the UK, Malta, Gibraltar, Ontario, Romania, Greece, and Sweden are the licenses. eCOGRA audits the games. The RNG is the fairness mechanism on the slots. If a paytable disagrees with 96.10%, 96.25%, 96.20%, or 98.12%, trust the paytable.
Sweepstakes play still has to offer a no-purchase path. Buying Gold Coins is optional. Responsible gaming tools live in the account menu.
Who should play Relax Gaming, and who should skip
Play Relax if you want high printed RTPs, a chance to pick your bonus, and a progressive that is actually labeled Dream Drop. Marching Legions is the first game when 98.12% is the point. Temple Tumble Megaways is the one when you want a clear choice inside the feature and you will use 7,767x unless the paytable says otherwise. Money Train is the one when you want the collector round, and you will read the sequel number before you quote 150,000x. Mega Bonanza, McLuck, Hello Millions, PlayFame, and Stake.us are the lobbies we open.
Skip Relax if a long dead stretch ruins the session. High volatility is the catalog. Skip a 100 SC stake on Iron Bank or Money Train 4. Skip the studio if you needed the New Jersey or Pennsylvania real-money path and you are outside those states. Sweeps play still depends on the casino's own state list.
