Amazon Jackpots uses two balances.
Gold Coins (GC) are for fun play. You can buy GC packages, and you can ask for small top-ups of free GC when your balance is too low to play. GC expire after 60 days without GC play and can't be redeemed.
Sweeps Coins (SC) are free. The Play Rules list the Daily Bonus, missions, prize drops, free scratchcards, social media giveaways, mail-in requests and SC included with some GC purchases. SC must be played through at least once before they count toward a redemption [1].
